About
I always do my best to live life to the fullest and to make every day a special day.
My dream as a child was to become an actor or a flight attendant. At school, I wrote different dramas that we played for other students. After school, I got work as a flight attendant and lived in Bahrain during the Gulf War. It was an exciting experience not to be able to leave the country. Parts of the American army were based on the island. It was war and we saw missiles that met Saudi at a distance. We stood on the roof, so young and thought we were immortal. In the wardrobe, we had a syringe with an antidote against the nerve gas. After my years in the Middle East, I met my husband and moved back to Sweden and we got our three lovley boys. Very tragically my husband got a brain tumor and died. He was a valued heart doctor and had worked hard to improve heart care where he helped many people. After his death I looked up at the stars thinking, "Carina, follow your dreams, there are no limits what you can do. If you see your goal and follow your dream, you will be there". A few years earlier I had seen the most beautiful fairytale hotel I've seen ever in my life, Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden, I wanted to work there. I followed my dream and got the job as a Hotel Manager, a tough and crazy fun work with many challenges. I have also worked at large hotel chains as Key Account Manager and Regional Sales Director. Now I'm following my dream again and will continue to write books until I'll get a new exciting job:-)
